What is an ODR?
You may have heard your child talking or worrying about an ODR. An ODR is an abbreviation for the term Office Discipline Referral form. These forms are filled out by classroom teachers or school staff to document and monitor behaviors that occur during the school day. Students can receive a minor ODR or a major ODR depending on the behaviors that were exhibited. Once a student has three minor ODR's they will meet with Mr. Miller or Mrs. Crank-Woller to discuss how they can change the behaviors or to determine if extra support/services are needed. Receiving a major ODR requires an immediate trip to the office. ODR's are typically issued after students have been re-taught the rules and expectations numerous times

Returning after an absence:
All absences need to be excused in writing. If your student is absent, a morning call is appreciated, however; a written note is required when the student returns to school. Please note that each student can miss 10 days/year excused by parent note and 10 pre-excused days a year. A pre-excuse requires a written note at least 24 hours in advance with a request for make-up work before the absence.
